Locandina dell'evento

The conference was an opportunity to present the contents of the memorandum of understanding concluded between the Municipality of Quarto and the ICT Centre for Cultural Goods of the University of Salerno, which now sees the start of an experimental activity on some school subjects in the territory, (chosen according to a strict principle of year of manufacture, used material and location area); the project, which involves collecting data from sensors placed in selected buildings for monitoring the impacts of oscillations on public buildings, represents the virtuous union between the scientific know-how of the University of Salerno and the technological know-how of NetCom Group, industrial partner of the initiative.

The objectives of the initiative, as explained by prof. Colace, director of the ICT Centre for Cultural Heritage at the University of Salerno, during his speech are:

  • Develop, together with the Municipality and with the support of NetCom, an integrated platform for predictive monitoring (and maintenance) of buildings of public interest
  • Develop representative models of the dynamics of structures and implement them in distributed software environments
  • Create a database of scientific interest
  • Design and implement dashboards for data monitoring and control
  • Implement automatic or semi-automatic “alert” mechanisms.
