The fifth transnational meeting of the SCICO+ project took place on February 19-20, 2025, at the Politechnica University of Bucarest.
SCI-CO+ is an international project funded by the European Union’s ERASMUS+ involving eight organizations:
- Ireland
- Italy
- Fondazione IDIS Città della Scienza
- Distretto DATABENC with the participation of NetCom
- University of Naples Federico II
- Fondazione Mondo Digitale
- Romania
- Spain
- Sweden
- Sjuhärad Municipal Association – Navet Science Centre
The project’s goal is to help bridge an existing gap in the current educational landscape by creating specific training pathways aimed at the following professional roles:
- Sci-Co Advanced System and Project Leader
- Expert in Authoring and Design of Advanced Sci-Co Materials
- Advanced Expert in Sci-Co Storytelling
The first day of work, coordinated by Alessandra Drioli, Science Centre Manager at Città della Scienza and Project Manager of SCI-CO+, focused on analyzing the results achieved so far, specifically:
- The progress of the volume to be published in the coming months (Alessandra Drioli)
- The SCICO+ training profiles activated (Alfredo Troiano)
- The SCI-CO+ community tools (Alessandro Stile)
- The dissemination initiatives implemented by project partners
The day concluded with a tour of the Politehnica University and a social dinner.
The second day featured a session with stakeholders who had previously participated in the initial forum groups, providing valuable suggestions and collaboration opportunities for the SCICO+ project.
The meeting concluded with an assessment of the platform tools designed to facilitate interaction among students and between students and educators.
