On Tuesday, March 25th, the workshop titled “Quantum Technologies: State of the Art for Dissemination on the Topic” took place at the main hall of the University Complex of S. Giovanni a Teduccio at Federico II.

The event, organized by the ICT Commission of the Order of Engineers of Naples, in collaboration with the Meditech Competence Center, saw the participation of academics, experts, and leading companies in the sector, confirming the importance of continuous dialogue between research and industry to drive innovation.

Among the speakers were Giampiero Pepe, Professor of Experimental Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Federico II in Naples, who gave an introduction to quantum technologies. Angelo Giuliana, General Director of the Meditech Competence Center, discussed the topic “Quantum Communication: An Infrastructure Available to the Market”; Giovanni Acampora, Professor of Computer Science at the University of Federico II in Naples, presented “Quantum Artificial Intelligence and Academia: New Challenges and New Skills”; and Alfredo Troiano, Engineer and Technical Director of NetCom Group, delved into the topic “Quantum Computing: How We Will Interact with Quantum Computers” – a focus on how this revolutionary technology will transform our interaction with computers, opening up unprecedented scenarios for the future of computing and innovation.
