The multichannel IoT bridge is a patented embedded electronic device capable of automatically and intelligently selecting communication modes between external devices.

Its primary application is in the automotive sector, particularly in the HIL (Hardware in the Loop) simulation processes, where the bridge can harmonize communication between devices based on the test setup defined by validation procedures.

The bridge ensures the integration of an external driving simulator into the system.

The device can also be used outside of test benches, specifically both in real vehicles as an OBU (On-Board Unit) and on infrastructure as an RSU (Road Side Unit).

The multichannel IoT bridge also enables interfacing between on-vehicle electronic devices, V2X (Vehicle to Everything) communication systems, and, more broadly, an IoT environment.

It has been developed within the C-Mobility research project, in which NetCom is one of the participating companies.

Due to its great versatility, the multichannel IoT bridge can also be used in other sectors such as Industry 4.0, Smart Agriculture, and Cultural Heritage.
