On June 13-14, 2024, the fourth transnational meeting of the SCICO+ project took place at the NAVET Science Centre in Borås, Sweden.

SCI-CO+ is an international project funded by the European Union’s ERASMUS+ program, involving 8 organizations:

The aim of the SCI-CO+ project is to address a gap in the current landscape by providing interdisciplinary theoretical and practical training for those aspiring to pursue a career in scientific communication within museums.

During the first day of work, under the coordination of Alessandra Drioli, Science Centre Manager at Città della Scienza and Project Manager of SCI-CO+, the team finalized the details of the training program set to launch this fall and the definition of the volume to be published by the end of 2024.

 

The day concluded with a visit to the NAVET Science Centre, featuring its numerous interactive educational experiments, followed by a social dinner.
The second day featured a session titled “Digital Skills in a changing world – the future direction for science centers and science museum with a focus on digital tools“, with significant participation from stakeholders, both in person and remotely. They shared their perspectives on the central themes of the SCI-CO+ project.
